The Planets Released

sound

I’m pleased to announce the release of the completed album of The Planets. It’s been a long process squeezed into many nights and weekends. I’ve learned a lot about production, mixing, mastering, and have had to overcome a lot of technical difficulties with Logic and the various software instruments used in the making of the album. But I am pretty happy with how it’s turned out, and really excited to have completed the project.

I’ve released the album under my new project name Neue, and have created a site on Bandcamp to handle anything music release-related from now on. From there you can stream the entire album for free, or purchase a high quality version for download. In a few weeks it should also be available in iTunes and other services.

I’ve really been encouraged by the numerous positive comments and requests for an option to acquire the complete tracks. So if you’ve been a fan of the music, head on over to http://neue.bandcamp.com to download. I’m also planning on creating a print of the album artwork available for purchase from there too. Thanks to everyone who has supported the release!

  1. THANK YOU SO INFINITELY MUCH!
I will immediately buy the tracks with PayPal. This is space ambient at its blatant epitome. Indescribable.

PS: Poor, poor Pluto, forever alone :(

  2. Your music is astounding. I’m a major fan of space related things and the Planets album is an example of utter brilliance. Perfect ambient music for when I’m doing work.

Bought it, listening to it now :)

  3. well it seems I am a major fan of your creative genius as well…. i feel so fortunate to have you put in my path via a google search of trees…. in your 2008 archive i came across one of the most thought evoking illustrations i have seen in a while…’the trees’… i don’t like to sound too rambling…but it really is a ‘powerful’ image… you are supremely talented. thanks for uploading and inspiring.

  4. I stumbled upon your music via the Greg Martin website and was immediately in love with the tracks. I couldn’t resist getting the FLAC version of the album. Next time I am looking at the night sky I’ll play your work through my earphones and let my mind drift for a bit. Fantastic work!

  5. I love this album! The music is really beautiful. It’s the perfect company to my inner child that still likes to look up at the stars and wonder about the infinite universe. On those chilly nights when I can’t go outside, I can just put this on.

  6. Wow! I don’t even have the words to describe the feeling I get when I listen to this album!!!
Since my childhood the space has been attracting me, and during nights I love to watch the sky and think about the Universe and Humanity.
I wonder about a time when people will be able to reach far stars and planets easily.
In conclusion, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this outstanding music!
